We can offer advice on places to visit/local tourist attractions, restaurants,  fishing, sporting activities, and if we dont know we will be able to find out for you.
We offer the following services should you require them please book in advance (some may incurr a small additional charge):

Shops/Chemists

Londis Supermarket In Fethard

Local shop is open from 08:30- 21:00(22:00 in Summer)
Sells everything you could want – it even does fresh meat if you want to barbeque.
They make fresh brown bread and rolls every day. Fresh chickens cooked daily.
Has off licence selling wine/beer.
Deli, Petrol pump, a banklink machine, DVD rental.

Morning papers, cards, stationery etc.
Also has a good notice board inside door if there is anything on it will be advertised here.

Miskellas

Small local shop on road to Hook Head – sells papers, break, milk, fishing supplies.

Supervalu Supermarket in Wellington Bridge (Large Supermarket)

If you need to get a big shop.  Hardware store, plus haberdashery there if you forgot anything.   Shoe shop, stationary, and Lotto also can be done here.

Supermarket in Ramsgrange

Another excellent Supermarket where you can do lotto, they have fresh butchers counter, make their own bread, do lotto etc. Head towards Duncannon and take signs for Ramsgrange.

Chemist 

Local Chemist in middle of village – Check door for opening times as varies. Next nearest Chemist is Wellingtonbridge that has normal opening hours.

Hairdresser

Numerous hairdressers in  Fethard, Wellington Bridge and Campile.

Doctor 

Note on noticeboard in shop or Post Office will tell you who is on duty and what hours.
Directions: Go out of Fethard and take 1st left after the terracotta coloured house (on right hand side of road). Doctors surgery is on right hand side – bungalow 1st or 2nd house on the road.

Country Market **

Local Market on a Saturday in hall in middle of village for fresh vegetables, plants, eggs, bread etc all local produce – opens at 10:30 – be there on time as all the stuff goes really quickly and there is usually a queue to get in the door from about 10:20 but worth it!.

** Only on Bank Holiday weekends from Oct to June, and every Saturday in Summer.

Massage – Paula – gives an excellent 1 hour massage for €30 euros – on main street – ring to book her on 0877547208. Suitable for both men and woman – different types of massage or therapy offered: sports, relaxing or physical theraphy.

Beautician 

Claire Aulds plus local beautican in Hairdressers.

Ferry

Great for going across to Dunmore East etc times are on the noticeboard in the press where the washing machine is.

  • 07:00  and last ferry is around 22:00 in summer.
  • 8:00 to 8:00 in winter hours.

Mass 

  • 10:00- Fethard (the church you pass on way in on the bad bend)
  • 11:30-Templetown(Take road up the side of tennis court and it is about 2 miles out that road).
  • Mass only takes about 25 mins.
  • Church of Ireland in Fethard – is at 10:00 am – church just up from Shop.
